3. Excellent Physicality In Divas Match
The controversial inclusion of Reid Flair's name into Charlotte and Paige's feud is not something everybody is going to agree on. Many felt using a deceased family member to garner heat was tawdry and cheap, whilst others believe nothing should be eliminated when trying to ignite feuds. On a more cheerful note, Paige vs. Charlotte delivered from an in-ring perspective at Survivor Series. Smackdown was an odd show for Charlotte. The WWE Divas Champion was all smiles as she defeated Brie Bella. That was a mistake, she should have been emotional and angry over what had happened on Monday Night Raw between Paige and herself. Survivor Series rectified that, both women came out of the starting blocks with passion, and they hammered the heck out of one another. Even when working Figure Four holds on the mat, the selling was convincing. Previous female bouts in WWE have been blamed for looking like elaborate dance routines. Between Paige's hard-hitting style and Charlotte's desperate cries in pain, this match felt like a genuine struggle. That's a huge compliment, both women really nailed the tone of their collision.
