The passing of time is entirely unavoidable, nobody can change the fact almost 13 years have passed since Bill Goldberg stepped foot inside the ring at Madison Square Garden for WrestleMania XX. On December 27, 2016, Goldberg will turn 50. Watching Survivor Series, you'd be forgiven for finding that ridiculous.

Deserving all the plaudits in the world, Bill Goldberg did not look middle-aged on WWE's latest pay-per-view. Clearly taking his in-ring comeback seriously, the machine-like athlete was in tremendous physical condition. If any human male could have a body like that in their late-40's, it's a stick on that they'd be very much pleased.

Before the show, there were some rumblings about Goldberg's shape. Would he look good next to Brock Lesnar? What if he looked old and faded compared to the last time he entered the ring? In an instant, all those doubts were washed away.

Ripped and muscular, Goldberg didn't even really look much older. That's a testament to how hard he has trained for Survivor Series, Goldberg left nothing to chance and can rightly be proud of his appearance.
