WWE Survivor Series 2016 Eliminations - From Worst To Best

7. The New Day

Breezango's early elimination was somewhat surprising, but WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day following them into the shower early was a shock to one and all. Many have complained that this made the champions look stupid, but looking like hardnuts isn't exactly New Day's thing. Vulnerability is good for them.

It was a true shock, one that popped the crowd and would have alerted many viewers at home. It took a serious superkick to do it too, the move itself causing ripples in the crowd. The announce team also did a great job of playing up just how big a deal this was.

6. The Usos

The final five minutes of the tag team elimination match was great, with The Usos and Cesaro & Sheamus going toe-to-toe in yet another example of how much better off Jimmy & Jey are as heels. It was great tag wrestling, even with the bickering between the Europeans.

Cesaro & Sheamus would eventually pick up the win via submission, but there were a number of great nearfalls beforehand. Sheamus was able to save Cesaro's skin as the Swiss Superman had Jey locked in the Sharpshooter, Brogue Kicking poor Jimmy Uso into oblivion.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
