WWE Survivor Series 2021: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
1. Charlotte Flair Vs. Becky Lynch
Result: Becky picks up the win by reversing Charlotte's roll-up and using the ropes for leverage (18:15).
Rating: This was a terrific opener to the show proper, with Charlotte and Becky just slugging the hell out of each other for almost 20 minutes.
Despite a few sloppy moments that didn't quite connect, this was intense and exciting as hell from start to finish, and the crowd was so, so into it.
As much as WWE relies way too much on both dirty finishes and roll-up victories, it actually felt appropriate here. Becky basically playing Charlotte at her own game made for a smart and mostly satisfying end to a strong overall showing.
For a match with no palpable stakes, this was great. 8/10
