2. Superman Punch Sends Sheamus Through Table
There were several periods during the WWE World Heavyweight Title match at TLC which felt like they were dragging. Throughout the bout, fans chanted things like, 'We Miss Rollins' and, 'Daniel Bryan' over and over. It would be a lie to say this didn't create an ominous tone which could have made the pay-per-view fizzle out rather than end with a bang. To their credit, Sheamus and Roman Reigns fought through the adverse reaction from the crowd. They punctuated their title match with enough big spots at the right moments, and that greatly aided their cause. Sheamus hitting White Noise on Reigns through a table at ringside stands out, but there was one other big bump which had people on their feet near the ending sequence of the match. Racing up the ladder to stop Sheamus from unhooking the title belt, Reigns clocked him with his trademark Superman Punch. From there, the Irish champion fell expertly from his lofty perch, crashing head first through a table propped up against the ropes. The bump looked excellent, and really worked wonders in making it appear Roman could feasibly win.
