Maybe the best thing to come out of the Elimination Tables Match was that The Wyatt Family regained some momentum. At Survivor Series, they were vanquished with relative ease by The Undertaker and Kane. That couldn't happen at TLC, and that fact proved to be something the writing team were keenly aware of. Bray Wyatt and his clan were booked to look dominant. Only Erick Rowan was eliminated on their side early in the bout, meaning Bray, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman survived till the end of the match. It's poignant that Strowman was scheduled to nail Bubba Ray Dudley with the match-winning Chokeslam through a table in the middle of the ring. The win wasn't greeted favourably by the crowd, but The Wyatts are supposed to be heels. The Dudley Boyz, Rhyno and Tommy Dreamer were swept aside by The Wyatt Family. This finally gives Bray Wyatt some justification for his wild claims that they cannot be stopped and that he is the 'New Face Of Fear'. Before, those threats seemed empty, but when they win The Wyatts appear much more effective. The next step is vital for them, but this feud against ECW originals worked in heating them up a little bit.
