AJ delivers once again.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, the hype was pretty low for Smackdown's TLC PPV, given that a) it's December and people are busy b) it's a brand-specific show and c) the card looked like it would offer little in terms of surprises.

For the most part, TLC was an incredibly average show, half-full of forgettable bouts and half-full of genuinely good ones. Nobody's going to call anything here a classic, but at least there wasn't a single actual dud, and one match may have even caught fans a little off-guard at least.

WWE is basically just spinning its wheels now while it gets things in motion for the Royal Rumble and beyond, and after the insanity of Survivor Series just a few weeks ago, a lot of this show felt like it would've been more at home on TV.

Regardless, here is every WWE TLC 2016 match ranked from worst to best...

7. No DQ: Nikki Bella Vs. Carmella

Result: Nikki kills Carmella with the Rack Attack 2.0 for the win (7:39).

Rating: This one started badly and struggle to find its rhythm, and it didn't help that the ref kept doing a countout for some reason.

It went through the very basic No DQ beats with a kendo stick and fire extinguisher, but there was some decent storytelling, even if Carmella winning would've been so much more interesting.

Also, the post-match reveal that Natalya attacked Nikki was hilariously bad, especially as WWE immediately followed this with a promo of Nattie helping some guy pick out an engagement ring, which was the dumbest creative decision on the entire show. 5/10
