WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 27)

1. Sock Love

Just because Emma is a comedy character and Santino is a comedy character doesn't mean that they need to be put together. They are bad for each other. It's an awful mix, like pairing Disco Inferno and Rico Constantino in a team. Actually...scratch that, that might have worked. The point is, Santino is bad with everyone, and it would be nice to give Emma a chance. It appears that there are at least a couple people in the crowd who are into her dance. Santino is just a blackhole of lameness these past few years. He is a career killer more so than than Randy Orton was ever a legend killer. Look at his list of victims so far: Beth Phoenix, Maria, Zack Ryder, Vladamir Kozlov. It's a tragedy. Teaming up with him is a death sentence. Emma's romance with Santino reached a new low when she pulled out a sock on Raw. Somehow, just like Santino, when she puts a sock on her hand, the sock becomes self-aware and she has no control over it. She should probably seek psychiatric help for this, and not be competing in hand-to-hand combat. That seems irresponsible on WWE's behalf. The announcers should not be laughing their heads off, and should instead show deep concern that her brain is so badly damaged that she can't control her right arm. Watching two socks try and make love is so awful that it may cause people to stop watching wrestling forever. Sure, it's cool to see The Shield getting a big push, Daniel Bryan winning the WWE Title and Paige holding the Divas title, but this happens on the same show as socks having sex. There may be no words to understand what goes on in Vince McMahon's mind.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
