WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 12)

5. That€™s Not How That Works!

Since when does breaking up a pin count as a disqualificaiton? You see that happen in every single tag match! Well on Raw, during the main event, Kane broke up a pinfall, and the ref immediately ended the match due to the sheer brutality of it. Why didn€™t WWE just book Kane to hit John Cena with a chair, a 2 x 4 or the corpse of Katie Vick to at least cause a legitimate DQ? Why can€™t WWE keep their own rules consistent? Just days later on SmackDown, in the 15 man tag match, a pin was broken up, followed by four men in the ring at the same time, followed by one man after the other illegally entering the ring, followed by what should have easily been a count out on the legal man. The ref just stood there and let it all happen. So why was the decision on Raw only enforced for one night, for only one single match and not even the next show? It€™s a small issue, but part of a bigger problem. How are fans supposed to get invested when heels break rules if they're only invoked one in every 9,000 instances? Will a handful of tights be legal next week? How about back rakes suddenly being outlawed? Where will it end Vince? Where will it end?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
