5. X-Pac & Kane
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qe3qjIZ-DX8 DX's X-Pac and the Big Red Machine, Kane, formed an unlikely alliance in the aftermath of WrestleMania XV in 1999, as they had a common enemy in Triple H. Chyna had turned her back on Kane during his Mania match with Triple H, then later Triple H and Chyna turned their back on DX, joining the Corporation, when Helmsley cost X-Pac his European title match to Shane McMahon on the same show. The pair's styles complimented each other's quite well; the smaller X-Pac's athletic style with 7ft Kane's powerhouse, smash mouth style. They won the WWF Tag Team titles at the end of March, within weeks of forming their alliance, and held the titles for nearly two months. They recaptured the titles in the summer, before feuding with the Undertaker and Big Show, losing the belts to the 'Unholy Alliance' at Summerslam. It was during this period they we saw a more human side to Kane for the first time, as he looked to protect his friend, who he clearly cared for, from the evil Undertaker and Big Show. The duo would disband in late 1999, when X-Pac turned his back on Kane, after turning heel upon reforming DX with Triple H, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn.
