WWE: Top 10 Tag Teams Of The Attitude Era

4. Hardy Boyz

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqlCO3X_VaQ Brothers Matt and Jeff Hardy were a high flying tag team who debuted in 1998, becoming a more established act in mid 1999 when they briefly held the WWF Tag Team titles for the first time. They had been managed by Michael Hayes, but formed an alliance with Gangrel as the New Brood. But in was in October 1999 at the No Mercy pay-per-view that they really made a name for themselves. They defeated Edge & Christian in an epic tag team ladder match, the first of its kind in the World Wrestling Federation, in what turned out to be Match of the Year and revolutionise the tag team division. The brothers consequently dropped Gangrel and were the Hardy Boyz once again. The extreme brothers engaged in many epic tables, ladders and TLC matches with Edge & Christian and the Dudley Boyz over the coming two years. The most memorable moments were created by the fearless Jeff, who many times jumped off the top of ladders or parts of the arena, delivering Swanton Bombs to helpless opponents who were sent crashing through a table. The Hardy Boyz won the WWF Tag Team titles a total of four times during the Attitude Era and a further two times since. They also had later success as singles competitors; Matt is a former ECW and United States champion, whilst Jeff is a former WWE and World Heavyweight champion.
