WWE WrestleMania 29 Coming To MetLife Stadium in New Jersey?
Plans to host WrestleMania 29 at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas have fallen through and the plan now seems to be for the event next year to be housed at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
"We can't host WrestleMania the next two years because of NCAA Regional in '13 and Final Four in '14. We've talked with them and gave it a shot but couldn't make the schedule work."Early WWE plans were for their marquee event next year to take place in Dallas, Texas for what could be Stone Cold Steve Austin's return match, The Undertaker's retirement bout and a special match involving Brock Lesnar. Even earlier plans had been for WrestleMania 29 to take place from Toronto but with Edge being announced as a WWE Hall of Fame inductee this year, that clearly is no longer on the cards.
