8. The Wyatt Family Vs The Shield Deserved A Bigger Stage
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPQhu7BF0es How good was it when the Wyatt family and the Shield finally locked horns? The match at Elimination Chamber had an epic feel to it, leading to the crowd chanting 'this is awesome!' before the match had even started and boy, they did not disappoint. Many are calling it match of the year, and it could well stand the test of time and win that slammy at the end of the year. So what am I complaining about? The match was great, but it could (and should) have been so much more. I understand that WWE has bigger plans for both Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt, and I'm thoroughly happy about that fact, but this match deserved Wrestlemania. It was epic but it could have been a bona fide 'where were you?' moment. This is perhaps a case of WWE being stubborn. The Shield's breakup had been planned for a while, and they wanted to give us the feud with the Wyatt family before that happened. This makes sense. However, even after the first confrontation back in November, in England, it became apparent that they had caught lightning in a bottle with this feud. WWE should have postponed the split of the Shield, in order to give this feud the life it deserved, and have it culminate at Wrestlemania. As it is, this was a very good match, and the crowd were electric. Unfortunately, we may never know what could have been if this had been given the appropriate stage.
