WWE WrestleMania 30: 11 Booking Decisions They Must Get Right

7. A Strong Video Vignette And Make Lesnar As Threatening As Possible

The biggest problem afflicting a main event this year has been the horrendous booking of Brock Lesnar against The Undertaker. The plodding storyline has carried no threat whatsoever, Brock has been made to look cowardly in fact. That takes away all drama from the match, everyone now just feels that Brock vs Taker is a predictable match which will go through the motions. WWE's booking department can go some way to correcting this on the night. The first thing they need to do is produce a top quality pre-match video vignette. When the company gets these right, they can be fantastic. A dramatic piece which plays up Brock's threat, referencing his previous victories and the UFC stare-off will add some zest back to the match. Once that's over, Undertaker should make his entrance. This is when we should see sacrilege, Lesnar running out during Taker's walk to smash him with a steel chair. It should be the same angle we saw with Big Show at Royal Rumble. Destroying Taker some more before entering the ring to officially start the match, Lesnar will have made his threat far more conceivable. WWE needs to restore Brock as one of the most brutal men in the business again at WrestleMania. Taker wins, but Lesnar almost kills him the process.
