WWE WrestleMania 30 Review: 10 Biggest Moments

10. Austin, Rock & Hogan Get Things Off To A Perfect Start

!--> In one of the hottest opening segments is Wrestlemania history three members of the WWE€™s proverbial Mount Rushmore stood in the same ring. The Immortal Hulk Hogan, €˜Stone Cold€™ Steve Austin and The Rock, welcomed the world to Wrestlemania 30. This was a feel good moment and more importantly it finally provided some much needed closure on all three superstars€™ careers. Having left TNA and unable to pass a WWE physical Hulk Hogan will most likely never compete in a match again. Last night as he stood in front of the 75,000+ strong at the SUPERDOME, €˜Stone Cold€™ Steve Austin and the Rock praised him for all he has accomplished. It was a fitting send off for the architect of Wrestlemania. For Austin after years of tension with Hogan, it was good to see the genuine handshake between the two. Recent interviews suggest any issues between the two biggest stars in wrestling history have well and truly been buried. During his promo Austin told the current crop of performers to make a name for themselves, a passing of the touch moment the WWE and Austin can finally move on from the €˜Attitude€™ Era. As for the Rock his returns have become more and more infrequent, the crowds reactions slowly growing quieter for each one. It is time to move on and both the WWE and The Rock finally look to have accepted that. A Hall of Fame Induction next year awaits and then the Rock can finally ride of in to the Sunset (or at least Hollywood) firmly established alongside Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin as one of the most important and popular WWE superstars of all time.
