WWE WrestleMania 31: 10 Matches That Would Make The Perfect Event
4. Sting Vs. Bray Wyatt
Sting has made it clear that he wants to compete at WrestleMania 31. He's in his mid-50s, he's already a part of WWE's video games and action figure collection, so the next step is to get into the WWE ring at WrestleMania. While he has said that he wants to face Undertaker, it appears unlikely that Undertaker is going to compete. Instead of Undertaker, the right choice for an opponent would be Bray Wyatt. It could be set up with Sting appearing at the Royal Rumble or soon after and receiving a huge ovation. Then Wyatt could show up to cut him off. Sting could say he's just there to say hello to the WWE Universe "for the first time" while Wyatt could inform the veteran that he's not welcome in his WWE. The reason this works is because Wyatt is a unique heel that could do a great job of cutting promos ripping Sting and everything he stands for. Wyatt could talk about how Sting was idolized by fans all over, but that was a long time ago and in a different place. With Wyatt taking shots at Sting's character, that could lead to Sting challenging him to a match or accepting a challenge from Wyatt. A win for Sting over Wyatt would be cool although putting over the younger Wyatt would be smarter. After the loss, Sting could take a while to salute the fans in what could be his one and only match in WWE.
