WWE WrestleMania 31: 10 Matches That Would Make The Perfect Event

3. Daniel Bryan Vs. John Cena

The story for this match is that Bryan is coming back from his neck injury and that Cena doesn't think he's ready to do that. Since Bryan is a man full of pride, he wants to prove he's ready by facing Cena on the grandest stage of them all. Their last major match was a classic at SummerSlam 2013 where Bryan beat Cena for the WWE Title. They clearly had great chemistry then and would probably have it again. The reason you do a babyface match like this is to give the fans a classic matchup that is worthy of a WrestleMania. The quality of matches at WrestleMania needs to improve. Putting Bryan against Cena would certainly help. A win for either man would work. Bryan could win with an inside cradle or some kind of counter. If Cena won, it would lead to the story that Bryan still has a long way to go in order to get back to the level where he was. It's part of a story. If Bryan isn't able to compete at WrestleMania 31, which is very possible, then it would make sense to put Cena against Rusev.
