WWE WrestleMania 33: Assessing The Potential Of All 14 Matches
9. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson Vs. Cesaro & Sheamus Vs. Enzo & Big Cass - RAW Tag Team Title Match
All three teams have wrestled one another in some form for what feels like an eternity.
It is almost impossible to care about a match the vast majority of the fandom tired of months ago. That it involves Cesaro is an almost singular indictment of WWE's handling of the character; the man always delivers in the ring, and yet he's part of the least anticipated match on the biggest show of the year.
It might be decent enough, but that hinges on the performances of Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Cass doesn't necessarily need to be that good an in-ring performer. He has a role, but as limited as it is, he has manage to fluff it on occasion. He completely botched the finish of the Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Title match at Money In The Bank 2016, arriving too late to clothesline Luke Gallows. Gallows had to just stand there, even though his partner was in the process of being pinned. Cass has difficulty remembering where he needs to be in multi-man bouts. It doesn't bode well.
If Cass struggles with timing, Enzo has difficulty with positioning, infamously vaulting himself over the top rope under no duress whatsoever.
Enzo and Cass have fared so poorly between the ropes that they've practically turned themselves heel. Even a "triumphant" title win might not create the sought-for "WrestleMania Moment".
