WWE WrestleMania 42: 20 Things That NEED To Happen
1. The Rock Confronts Roman
Look, just make this a reality and book the darn match so everyone can move on.
Starting The Rock vs. Roman Reigns build a full year out from ‘Mania 43 makes sense, and there’s no reason why Rocky couldn’t find time to work a stare down spot into his schedule. That’d make a ton of headlines, and it’d make Punk haters guffaw if he was upstaged by Rock one more time. That’s not the reason it’s suggested here though.
WWE has been teasing Rocky vs. Roman for what feels like forever and a day. They kinda have to get around to it at some point, so why not build anticipation the old fashioned way like they did in 2011 for 2012's Rock vs. John Cena epic? Maybe don't say something daft about it being "Once In A Lifetime", right enough.
A year is ample time for Rock to sort out his scheduling and commit to WrestleMania 43 build. To get to that point, he may need to be in the house for 'Mania 42 and give Reigns a salty look as the 'OTC' holds his World Heavyweight Title aloft.
Bonus points if the cameras catch an aghast Punk looking around like, 'It's ruddy well happening again, isn't it?!'. That'd be a fun plot line for the next season of Unreal, if CM Punk wants to be part of the show.
