WWE's New Entrance Music Team Revealed

Here's who's been crafting WWE's tunes since CFO$ departed.

It has been a hectic couple of years for WWE Music Group. Long-time theme-maker Jim Johnston departed the promotion in December 2017, with WWE opting to go all in on CFO$ in the aftermath, though the duo mysteriously stopped making tracks for the company in May 2019.

Mia Yim's theme, "Number One," was the last CFO$-penned track put out by WWE's record label. They've released a handful of Uncaged albums and one single since then - metalcore band Code Orange's song for 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt.

The likes of Io Shirai, Buddy Murphy, and The OC have all received new things since CFO$ left the building, but it's only today that the creators have been revealed

Wrestling music site Arenataping has revealed, through research, that Douglas J David and Ali Dee Theodore were involved in the bulk of the themes. Their writeup describes the former as "an American music industry executive, entertainment lawyer, and Grammy Award winning record producer," while Theodore, his production partner, is a peer music producer. The duo have already worked with EA, Disney, Viacom, Netflix, and others.

James Petrie and Jodie Shihadeh are listed as the tandem's business partners. On top of this, the names Anthony Mirabella III, Susan Melissa Paroff, and Nikki Ann Sorrentino have received recent writing credits.

Arenataping found these names by searching for Stephanie Music Publishing Inc. (WWE Music's publishing company) on BMI's Repertoire service. Top work.
