Owen Hart Harley Race

Owen Hart was a notorious ribber, celebrated as much in passing by his peers for his pranks as his contributions bell-to-bell. He pops up again elsewhere in this list in fact, and wasn't afraid to get as close to the line as possible when it came to hazing newcomers or others within the locker room in the name of morale boosting and/or a little bit of devilment in a difficult business. But he picked on the wrong veteran when he decided to haze Harley Race of all people long after the former NWA World Champion had retired.

In Your House: Canadian Stampede had been the biggest gathering of Harts in recent memory, but plenty of them were there for a barbecue Race had held a few months later when the market leader swung through his neck of the woods in Autumn. Hart spiked Race's food with - per accounts - a product called "Insanity Hot Sauce", The Kansas City legend took his chilli, and his reputation for cooking a great one, seriously, and various colleagues hating his cooking as well as everybody else in the room blowing steam out of their bright red faces with every bite left Race feeling like a receipt was necessary.

Of a different time in just about every regard, 'Handsome Harley' took immediate and ugly revenge. Race hunted Owen down at the evening's television taping, waited for him to hit the showers and tased him... down south. But way up north in there, too. Owen, per witnesses Dustin and Terri Runnels was screaming and crying with the pain. Witness of both ribs just got the same benefits via the stories without a shred of brutality.
