Having recently undergone surgery for a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, WWE's Zoey Stark has addressed rumours that she's retiring from the ring.

The source of those rumours? That'd be an AI video that fooled even some of Zoey's family into thinking she was hanging up her boots.

In that fake video, Stark's physical likeness and voice are captured, with 'Zoey' announcing her retirement due to the knee injuries she suffered last month.

The real Zoey Stark posted her own video, showing her watching this AI creation and reiterating that, no, she has no plans to retire, and that she's currently doing rehab work at the UFC Performance Center.

Stark has been out of action since suffering a major knee injury on the May 19 episode of WWE Raw, where she had an awkward, brutal landing on her right knee when coming off the top rope for a missile dropkick during a triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifying match against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane.

In the aftermath of that injury, it was confirmed that Zoey had torn her ACL, MCL, and meniscus, and she underwent a two-and-a-half-hour operation to start the recovery process. As for that process, the belief is that Stark could well be on the sidelines until WrestleMania 42.

Here's hoping for a full recovery for Zoey Stark, and, as ever, all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling wish her nothing but the best on her road back to the squared circle.
