Woman World began as a single joke comic, but slowly developed into an exploration of a rich world full of distinct characters. Set in a not-too-distant future in which all men have mysteriously gone extinct, the strip examines the everyday life of one tribe of women, doing their best to thrive in this new world.

Featuring a mix of characters old enough to remember men and younger girls who have never seen one, the comic finds joy and warmth in its post-extinction setting. Dhaliwal merges her jokes and storylines in exciting ways - for example, a gag that the only remaining evidence of men is a Paul Blart DVD actually becomes a recurring story beat.

Although she has finished producing Woman World for the moment, Dhaliwal is currently working on her brilliant follow-up, Cyclopedia Exotica. Set in a world in which humans and cyclops live alongside each other, it is as funny and warm as Woman World, while also serving as a biting critique of bigotry in the modern world.
