5. Black Panther
What could be better than playing as Batman in an open-world Gotham City with an arsenal of WayneTech gadgets at your disposal? Being the Black Panther in an open world, where you are the ruler of Wakanda, the most technologically-advanced nation on the planet. Because the Black Panther is so awesome, he makes Batman look like a bumbling amateur. Oh yeah, I went there. The Black Panther deserves not only his own video game, but his own multimedia franchise. If you thought being able to play as Batman by relying on a combination of gadgets, stealth tactics, and good old fashioned fisticuffs was a lot of fun, then imagine if you could also do it as the Black Panther. Armed with energy daggers that have a variety of different settings (you can use them as weapons or also use them to tag people for tracking purposes), plus vibranium armor and claws. Instead of Batman's detective mode, you have the Panther's enhanced senses. And instead of just dealing with crime, you'd get to deal with political intrigue. Do you stop Doom's latest plot if the potential consequences are war with Latveria? Or how do you handle relations with Namor and Atlantis? Base the game on the kind of stories that made the Black Panther's title in the late 90s one of the greatest comics Marvel ever produced, elevating it to a whole new level.
