10 Awesome Moments From Mark Waid's Daredevil Run So Far

5. Solving "Hell Night"

Daredevil has a problem. Every major terrorist organization in the world wants to kill him because he owns the Omega Drive, a device with digital doom packed into its circular shape. And at one point, one terrorist organization broke ranks with the others to fire on Murdock's head. This branch was quickly taken out of the picture. Matt, not wanting to have to look over his shoulder forever, then decides to take down everyone with a Kansas City Shuffle in issue 13. Hell Night. He gets all of his pals, Spider-Man, Wolverine, etc. to dress up as the terrorist team he's already disbanded and "steal" the Omega Drive from him. With the other four organizations now thinking that this disbanded branch has what they want, they dissipate to find their Lost Ark. Matt returns the drive to Reed Richards and all is well, thanks to some quick thinking and friends in high places. Oh, and if you've ever wanted to see an image of Matt driving a fly-by mini-jet, then this is definitely the issue to pick up. Don't worry. Makes sense with context.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
