In a normal scenario, a fight between Hal Jordan and Superman would be a very interesting one and would undoubtedly be very close. However, in the event that Hal Jordan is playing host to the Parallax entity, it suddenly becomes a curbstomp in Jordan's favour. That's exactly what happened in 1994's Zero Hour #1. As Superman was talking big, Jordan rallied in with a sucker-punch to the Man of Steel to shut him up. The punch easily rendered him knocked out cold. Jordan had gone insane from hosting the reality warping power of the Parallax entity and was now trying to remake the universe in his own image. No mere Kryptonian was going to stand in his way.
