3. Son Of Batman

DC Animation and Warner Brothers have ramped up production of their animated features recently, turning out two or three features a year. Last year's hit was Justice League: War, a fairly loose adaptation of the New 52 Justice League origin. Two Batman features are on the slate for this year: Son of Batman, which was just released on May 6, and Assault on Arkham near the end of 2014. Based on the comic book arc by Grant Morrison, Son of Batman brings Damian Wayne into the fold, secret son of Bruce and Talia al Ghul. Needless to say, Damian's presence brings some tension to the Bat-Family. Ra's al Ghul and Deathstroke play integral roles, and lesser villains like Killer Croc are scheduled for minor appearances as well.
