10 Badass Batman Rogues You've Probably Never Heard About

8. The Carpenter

Clownface DC
DC Comics

The Carpenter, formally known as Jenna Duffy, was a pickpocket and con artist living in Keystone City. When she started attracting some heat from the cops, she decided to move to Gotham.

Now, if you’re a criminal, in the DC universe, looking for a change of scenery… Gotham seems like a strange choice. But, to each their own.

That is where Jenna found herself, and she quickly joined a band of miscreants called the Wonderland Gang. They dubbed her the Carpenter, and she partnered with the Walrus. What's more intimidating than a group named after Lewis Carrol characters? Well, the Wonderland gang was lucky to have Duffy, because she was indeed a badass.

First off, she was a pretty good Carpenter, actually. Catwoman and Poison Ivy once hired her to legitimately build them a hideout. Then, a man named the Director hired her to create several booby traps meant to ensnare the Dark Knight.

But, instead of paying Duffy, the Director abducted her and held her at gunpoint. In response, Duffy tossed him into a pool of electric eels. She also beat the hell out of a few of the Director's goons for good measure.

After Batman defeated the Director and confronted Duffy, her only complaint was that she wasn't paid for her work. Batman suggests she move back to Keystone City.

All in all, Duffy can handle herself with Gotham's underworld, but what's more badass than having a marketable skill like carpentry? Do you realise how much people will pay for custom cabinets?!
