10 Badass Batman Rogues You've Probably Never Heard About

7. Abbatoir

Clownface DC
DC Comics

With a name like Abattoir, you know this guy's going to be bad news. Arnold Etchinson grew up believing his entire family was evil. Who hasn't been there?

But, Abattoir went a little overboard when he murdered his whole family, assuming he absorbed their lifeforce upon their deaths.

Abattoir was locked up inside Arkham Asylum, but he managed to escape because, well, everyone manages to escape from Arkham eventually.

From there, he went on a killing spree with the lofty goal of murdering 600 people. He was stopped by Jean-Paul Valley, who was operating as Batman at the time. In a very un-Batman move, Valley allowed Abattoir to fall to his death, prompting Bruce Wayne to take back the cape and cowl.

But hey! Abattoir later came back as a ghost to antagonise Bruce Wayne from beyond the grave.

Oh, and he also wanted to kill his last living relative, a pregnant cousin. So, not even death can stop Abattoir's parricidal tendencies.
