10 Batman Fates Worse Than Death

2. The Speed Force Storms - Last Knight On Earth

From one dystopian DC reality to another now, and this time it's Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Last Knight on Earth, a Black Label comic that bookends the duo's acclaimed Batman run from the 2010s.

Last Knight on Earth features all kinds of funky horrors, including a severed Joker head Batman has to hang out with all the time, but by far the worst thing within its pages are the Speed Force storms, which are powered by the distorted remains of all the Earth's Flashes.

Anyone unlucky enough to fall into said storms is aged up rapidly and dies, but arguably more unfortunate are the Flashes themselves, who can be seen screaming out for Bruce to rescue them, even though he's powerless to do so.

As far as imagery goes it's pretty messed up, and absolutely one of the worst fates to have been depicted in a Batman comic.
