Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are two of the more popular and interesting female characters that DC has got.

One of them is a clowned queen of crime, derby, and psychiatry, someone who overcame an abusive relationship, and defined a generation of Hot Topic sales. The other can control all plants, has gone through more reboots than Shazam, and recently discovered she's a nigh-immortal acolyte of the life force of Earth. Oh, and the two are good, good kiss friends.

Yeah, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are girlfriends. This plot began in the Batman the Animated series show, where Harley Quinn comes from. After her and Joker hit a bump, Harley moves in with Ivy. Throughout the show, and the associated comic books - one of which was the award-winning Mad Love - the two grew even closer. Especially in their own, titular comic.

Harley Quinn has gotten even bigger since her initial appearance and her relationship with Poison Ivy is more than hinted at, but made explicit on the page. Giving the two of them a comic would be the best moneymaker DC has had since Superman first learned to fly.
