10 Best Batsuits In DC History

6. 'Iron Man' Armour - Harley Quinn

The animated Harley Quinn show doesn't take itself too seriously.) A perfect example is the Season Two episode 'Batman's Back, Man', which contains an extended riff on the longstanding comparisons between Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark.

Bruce, who was injured at the end of the first season, gets Waynetech to build him a dead ringer for an Iron Man suit, only bat-themed. The suit even has a female AI named Monica with a red and yellow heads-up display, who 'helps' Bruce during a fight with several bad guys, including Bane.

The fight, which goes not too badly for Batman at first, quickly devolves into Bane throwing Bruce around like a toy, even with the tasers, jet boots, laser, and crotch missile (yes, you read that right) built into the suit. Bane ends up doing a 'Knightfall light', breaking Bruce's legs instead of his spine.

Despite the bone-crushing violence and harsh language, the whole scene is played for laughs, taking several good-natured shots at the image and concept of Iron Man and proving to Bruce that he really should have listened to Alfred and stayed in bed.
