In an alternate reality created by Doctor Doom, many versions of the Avengers collided in life or death situations, especially for a town built during the wild west days of 1872. After the death of the sheriff Steven Rogers by the bullet of a hitman called Bullseye, many of the townspeople Rogers served felt inspired by his sacrifice to act against a western version of Kingpin and his hired supervillains. The most begrudging hero to help was a woman named Natasha Romanoff.
As there were no skintight bodysuits for Natasha to don she instead stuck to a simple more time period appropriate outfit that included a standard pair of white gloves, her revolver and a small stiletto knife, as well as a red and white western bead trimmed shirt and green bandana. The only real reminder of where she comes from is her golden belt buckle that is engraved with her hourglass symbol.
This alternate reality Natasha may not look at all like how she does on our earth, but she has the same exact drives to protect and avenge people as any other Black Widow does, even in a world run by Doom.
