Along with a variety of artists, Jurgens explores Superman's new family life within the pages of Action Comics while also bringing back some of his most powerful enemies. Since the beginning of Rebirth, Lex Luthor has also taken up the Superman mantle and is protecting Metropolis. By watching Luthor's heroism, Superman is forced to question if Metropolis would be better off with a more down-to-earth human protector.
Between protecting his family and questioning his role in Metropolis, these are the kind of Superman stories that are the most memorable. While Superman is designed to be the best version of ourselves that we could ever possibly hope for, his basic humanity is what makes him work best.
