3. All Star Batman
Following up on his nearly five year run on Batman, Scott Snyder began a new ongoing title with All Star Batman. The premise of the book is to have a rotation of famed artists coming in to do the art for entire arcs or single issues. Aside from a range of artists, Snyder has also taken this opportunity to use a variety of popular villains throughout the title.
Despite the book having an overall arc, All Star feels far more episodic than his previous run with the character. The serialized nature of the comic also adds to this book being among the more accessible titles to have emerged from the Rebirth event.
Unfortunately, Snyder's latest stint on Batman will come to a close with its fourteenth issue. However, readers will be pleased to know that that the author's planned Batman stories that never materialized in All Star will be released in a prestige format in the coming year.
