The many undoings of the Mogul of Mountebanks in Batman: The Animated Series and its spinoff films are appropriately vague, given the intended youth audience. Examples: Joker triggers exploding marbles in his plane and crashes (laughing) into the sea. Joker vanishes (laughing) in smoke as an amusement park flames up around him. Joker jumps (deploying an inner tube, laughing) off an aquarium rooftop into shark-filled waters below. How could he not be dead? We never see anything really happen. The only certainty is that before long hell turn up in another episode.
