10 Best Marvel And DC Supervillains Who've Debuted Since 2000

3. Unit

Marvel Zombies Captain America
Marvel Comics

How creepy is Unit? Consider one of the first actions this new X-Men villain -- introduced in 2010 -- took: Landing on Earth from outer space, Unit meets a father and son hunting together. The father reacts poorly, attacking Unit. But Unit definitely overreacts: He uses his mind control powers to take control of the humans and then dissects the father.

Unit does have the decency to force the son to turn away while the dissection takes place.

Unit has since proven to be a tough foe for the X-Men. He can control the minds of others, boasts super intelligence and can even produce pheromones that can make humans-and others-pretty randy. Unit was able to use these to persuade Namor and Emma Frost to mate, after all.

Best Moment:

For pure creepiness, it's hard to top that opening dissection scene. Persuading the Submariner and Emma Frost to become lovers, though? That's pretty close.
