10 Best Moments From Charles Soule's Daredevil

8. Daredevil Vs. Bullseye

Daredevil By Phil Noto
Marvel Comics

Every time Daredevil goes up against Bullseye, there are always some spectacular pages for readers to enjoy, and it's no different in the duel found in Soule's run.

The first encounter, found in issue 16, takes place (primarily) within the span of one shot from the villain's rifle, with Murdock pondering whether he should continue his superhero career, his thoughts conveyed to the reader as the bullet travels toward him, with the scene exiting slow-motion once the projectile reached his intended target.

So, as well as displaying Matt's viewpoint on the events of pretty much his entire life as a hero, Soule and Sudžuka managed to create a fantastic, if not long, fight scene.

Following this initial brilliance is a second encounter, found within the more recent Daredevil #611 - one which is a lot more climactic. Bullseye quickly defeats the Man Without Fear and Daredevil is only saved when his brother blasts the villain in the back - another superb few pages.
