6. Batman And Robin: Pearl
As the direct sequel volume to Born to Kill, Pearl introduced a different and much-needed side to Damian.
Throughout Pearl, readers learn about the deep insecurities he hides under his cruel bravado. The volume kicks off with the new Robin eager to prove himself but instead of seeking criminals, he goes after each of the previous Robins. One by one Damian takes on the three prior boy wonders and claims a trophy from each of them.
The sequence not only shows how much we miss and loved the other Robins, but is also a testament to Damian's skills.
Pearl also goes into great detail about his past and explains all of the harsh tests he was forced to endure while with the League of Assassins.
