7. Teen Titans
While the Teen Titans (or Titans) have seen several incarnations of their team, the most notable characters are Robin/Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Superboy, and Kid Flash. They’d be joined later on by others like Miss Martian, Cyborg, Aqualad, Artemis, Donna Troy, Red Arrow, and a slew of others.
It’s critical to know the team, as several of their villains connect to certain characters on a personal level. The best example of this is the villain known as Trigon, who is basically DC’s version of Satan.
He happens to be Raven’s father and a man the team originally fought in the New Teen Titans comics back in the 1980s. Cheshire, a notable assassin and thief, as well as the cult leader Brother Blood also appear in this series of Titan comics.
A number of them can be a threat on their own, like Psimon, Shimmer, Blockbuster, Mammoth, Blackfire, Warp, Sportsmaster, Inertia, The League of Assassins, Clarion the Witch Boy, Cadmus, and H.I.V.E.
However, their biggest enemy is Deathstroke, an intelligent and villainous assassin. He happens to be a central figure in the popular Judas Contract story-arc where Terra, a member of their team, shockingly turns on them, and it's widely considered to be one of the greatest DC stories of all time.
