10 Best Superhero Friendships You Never Knew Existed

Most superhero friendships are interesting in some regard - but when you compare them to the fact that Supes and Spidey are technically pals, few seem quite as cool.

Although comics involving the pair are supposed to take place in the Crossover Universe - an alternate universe to the main DC and Marvel timeline, where both franchises can intersect - the two issues starring the pair make it very clear that the only thing stopping this friendship from being totally canon is the fact that they normally exist in different worlds.

Because even when the pair are supposed to be at odds in the classic Superman Vs. the Amazing Spider-Man they end up getting chummy by the end of it. Much like Thanos would say, it's just inevitable, as the pair are simply too similar as heroic beacons of hope to not settle any differences that could come between them.

As flagship characters for their respective franchises, it's a perfect symbol of unity that these two are friends - even if we also kind of want to see them locked in endless battle too.
