10 Best Superhero Friendships You Never Knew Existed

6. Damian Wayne And Crush

Loki Spider-Man
DC Comics

While it may be surprising enough to learn that Damian Wayne, official victor of the "most sulking Wayne family member" competition, has friendship, the excitement doesn't stop there.

In actual fact, the youngest Robin has a fair old collection of allies and pals, though the most surprising of these is somehow not his various failed clones, who live on a private island. No, instead it's actually Crush - because Crush happens to be none other than the daughter of Lobo. Yeah, that Lobo. You know, the space assassin who fights Superman on weekends.

Though she gained her father's predilection for violence, Crush has a better moral code, having instead been raised by some herb-toking hippies after she crash-landed on Earth during the Burning Man festival (no, really).

As the two slightly more intense members of the newest iteration of the Titans team, Damian and Crush have a strange sort of camaraderie that only having a crazy intense dad can create. In fact, Damian asked Crush to be on the team in the first place, which - given the little guy has some frankly insane trust issues - is impressive all by itself.

They do sort of share the same love interest, which is more than a little awkward, and capable of causing tension between them - but hey, what comic friendship doesn't have a love triangle at some point?

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
