10 Best Times Spider-Man Teamed Up

Nowadays, a Spider-Man/Iron Man team up is more or less the norm for many, but back in 1973 team ups were more of a novelty, and one between these two in Marvel Team Up #9 set the bar for many more to come.

Rather than set them off with something smaller scale this comic transported the science whizzes to the future, pitted them against two evil space dictators, and tasked them with saving the future versions of the Avengers.

Sounds insane? Well, on top of that, it was all concluded in a single issue. One nice, short comic book when Spider-Man and Iron Man had a Doctor Who like adventure through time and space, punching bad guys, swapping quips, being ultra smart together, and just having a good old time.

The father/son, mentor/mentee relationship that Peter and Tony share in more modern renditions of the characters works just fine, but it was nice to see the wall crawler treated like an equal partner in this story.
