The forty-year-old Italian started life as a designer and concept artist for VFX Studios factory, before transitioning into the field of a cover artist with Marvel in 2007. He would then have a sensational run on Thunderbolts, which would bring him attention from all corners of the comic book fandom, before he'd eventually branch out to do work for other companies, including DC.
Red Hood: Lost Days #1 would see him drop his best work to date, perfectly capturing Jason Todd just as he is preparing to go to work.
With the Bat Signal shining brightly just over his shoulder, it's obvious to the observer that any case he'd about to be investigating would, more than likely, put him on a collision course with the Dark Knight.
