4. Punisher On Netflix Daredevil

We already knew there was going to be a second season of Daredevil and that it would almost certainly involve Elektra, Daredevil's assassin ex-girlfriend. Now comes official word that Jon Bernthal of The Walking Dead has been cast as the Punisher. Bernthal seems like a no-brainer choice, given the intensity he brough to his Walking Dead role. Frank Castle, the Punisher, is a war veteran turned crimefighter whose principal "weapons" are his fists, wits, perseverance and lots and lots of really big guns. He has always served as a challenging rival to Daredevil and sometimes an out-and-out antagonist, as he may do here, given that the Kingpin is behind bars at the end of season 1. One way that the Netflix series is true to the comics is that in both, Daredevil agonizes considerably about the rights and wrongs of killing evil or letting it live, but ultimately he hasn't killed a single person. The Punisher wastes no time on such questions. And takes no prisoners.
