Because, as it turns out, Hitler is still alive in the present day Turtles universe, and manages to pilfer a robot body that he uses to go back in time to find his past, non-brain-in-a-jar self. The turtles manage to destroy this future Hitler, only to encounter his World War II self as well.

Filled with righteous fury, Raphael punches Hitler square in the jaw, only for the man to pull a gun on the mutated brothers. In an undeniably hilarious plan, Leonardo then convinces the dictator that he is dead, and that the turtles are demons who have come to take his brain. When Hitler is filled with horror, the blue-masked brother tells him not to worry, because they actually already have his soul.
