6. Nick Fury
Like Hank Pym, Nick Fury is still in Marvel Comics, but with a drastically changed role. He is currently chained to the moon, acting as a replacement for Uatu the Watcher, and is now only referred to as the 'Unseen'.
The original Fury was replaced in the comics with a different version that emulates the look of Samuel L. Jackson, to line up more with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even with a new Nick Fury, Marvel has never been able to fully commit to erasing the original, and Legacy could now provide the base necessary for a revival.
Within the comics, Fury is constantly being referenced. Along with talking about him, whenever characters take their somewhat regular visits to the moon, Fury can be seen there as well.
With Marvel having long contemplated killing off the character, and without any known plans of retiring Fury for good, along with the fact that S.H.I.E.L.D's in complete disarray, Legacy seems like a natural time to bring him back to the fold.
