The long-time cat of Supergirl, Streaky the Supercat was about as Silver Age as it gets, even becoming a member of the Legion of Super-Pets. Don't worry, no one is suggesting that the Legion of Super-Pets get their own solo movie, but Streaky is a character worth mentioning. As the DC Cinematic Universe is rumored to include the future debut of Kara Zor-El into the Henry Cavill Superman world, it would make sense to bring along Streaky at some point to hang out with Kara. The DC Animated Universe had a similar approach, with Streaky simply being Kara's pet cat. This would be an obvious way to go, by giving Kara a pet that she names Streaky as a wink to the fans. While seeing a super-powered cat go into battle alongside Supergirl on-screen is tempting, it doesn't seem as likely as one might hope, meaning non-powered Streaky is the next best thing.
