As far as comic book animal teams go go, the Zoo Crew is about as obscure as it gets, but they would be a wonderful characters to bring to the big screen. Captain Carrot's Zoo Crew was a team of animal superheroes that included Pig-Iron, Yankee Poodle and Rubberduck. There's a lot to be said about doing a Zoo Crew movie, as it would allow the DC Cinematic Universe to go off into the really obscure pantheon of characters that aren't Superman or Batman. It's probably daunting, but imagine the joy of seeing Alley-Kat-Abra along with the Zoo Crew in live-action. In a post-Rocket Raccoon world, anything is possible when it comes to comic book animals, so the Zoo Crew should be a no-brainer. Come on, it's a team of super-powered animals that fight crime together. It's begging to be made, and now is the time. In an age where fun superhero movies do just as well as the ones that are grim and gritty, the Zoo Crew is a good example of how to potentially do it right. It could be filled with self-referential humor, playing almost like a satire to the entire DCU, casting a different shade on the heroes as we've come to know them.
