7. Bizarro (DC Comics)
Bizarro's entire schtick is that he is a polar opposite, or mirror image if you will, of Superman. He is sometimes, but not always, depicted as an antagonist to the Man of Steel. Bizarro hails from Bizarro World (also known as "Htrae", which is "Earth" backwards) - a cube-shaped planet on which everything is backwards or opposite to what it traditionally is on Earth. As a result, Bizarro himself possesses a very similar power-set to Superman, but some of the powers are distorted or switched in some way - and this includes Superman's freeze breath becoming heat breath in Bizarro's case and, more pertinent to this list, Superman's heat vision becoming freeze vision in Bizarro's case. This freeze vision has proven powerful enough to hold Superman in place, despite his incredible strength, which emphasises how useful it could be if Bizarro wasn't so stupid (one of the "opposing" aspects of Bizarro compared to Superman is his intellect - he is as dumb as a brick as speaks in a manner than emphasises this).
